There are people who you meet and say to yourself: ‘Wow, I wish we could hire that guy.’ But the timing is wrong so you promise to stay in touch. Despite best intentions, the conversation goes no further.
Sometimes, let’s be honest very rarely, the stars align and you reconnect at the right time. So I’m excited that Shane Jordan, recently agreed to join our digital marketing team. He’s the guy who developed the digital marketing proposition for agencies such as Atomic, H30 and Spark PR. He wrote the playbook for their social media marketing and content amplification. He’s worked with major tech brands such as AT&T, Netflix and SMART Technologies and startups such as Brilliant Technologies, BlueSmart, and 7Park Data. He’s worked with B2B and B2C brands. In short, the perfect fit for us.
Shane and I met several years ago and reconnected when Firebrand was founded. But the timing wasn’t right – until now. He’s already hit the ground running, involved with clients such as Druva and early-stage companies, such as Kloudio. We’re also going to work on an integrated influencer and digital marketing program for a new stealth-stage startup launching later this year. More on that soon I hope, but exactly the type of campaign we love.
